Dr. Veerapandiyan Veerasamy (Veera) is a Lecturer in Cybersecurity and Energy Systems at Curtin University, Singapore Campus^{. His multidisciplinary research sits at the intersection of cyber-physical system, energy system resilience, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and green mobility infrastructure.} 

Prior to joining Curtin University, Dr. Veera served as a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, within the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) from Dec 2021 to Jun 2026^{. His industrial and research contributions encompass hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation, real-time energy management controllers, and cybersecurity for microgrids and electric vehicle (EV) charging platforms.}

A Senior Member of the IEEE, Dr. Veera has authored over 50 plus top-tier journal papers in high-impact venues (such as IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid and IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics) ^{and holds patented software copyrights for energy storage and power flow management systems. He was awarded 1st Place in the global Siemens Tech for Sustainability Challenge (2021) and was a finalist in the OPAL-RT Global CO2 Reduction Contest (2023).}
