BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH IMPACT
My work is to characterize mineral-bearing terrain. My initial training was in civil engineering, designing irrigation systems in Telangana, followed by satellite data. It's also that civil engineering background that keeps my geospatial efforts focused on land-use and infrastructure issues rather than just imagery for imagery's sake. Currently, a PhD Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dhanbad and Curtin University (WASM) under ISRO's NNRMS program for remote sensing applications for mineral exploration. My technical background includes: GIS platforms, ArcGIS, QGIS, ENVI, field surveying, and geospatial scripting using Python. Previously developed systems include an ML-supported, live geospatial traffic-rerouting system. Open for research and industry employment in the area of Remote Sensing, Surveying, GIS, and Mineral Exploration.
