BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH IMPACT
I’m a geoscientist with a PhD from the Australian National University (awarded in 2023), specializing in data-driven approaches to understanding Earth’s crustal evolution. My doctoral research involves using large data sets of zircon age, isotopes and trace element compositions to investigate various crustal processes, including the formation of S-type granites, major mountain-building events, and the growth of the preserved continental crust.
Post PhD, I've worked on diverse geological projects across several institutions: studying the loss of continental material into the mantle in modern collisional systems like the Himalayas (Monash University), exploring the tectonic and environmental drivers behind Earth’s “Boring Billion” (The University of Hong Kong), and evaluating detrital cassiterite as a potential tool for mineral exploration (Curtin University).
I’m passionate about using large geochemical datasets to unravel the complexities of geological processes and translate those insights into practical applications such mineral resource exploration.
