BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH IMPACT

I am a Lecturer in Business Information Systems at Curtin University. My research focuses on responsible AI, digital platforms, conversational AI, and violence prevention. I study how emerging technologies influence trust, governance, and behaviour in high risk contexts, and how digital systems can be designed to support safer and more responsible outcomes. I am a member of Vox-Pol, a Research Fellow at TU Wien, and have contributed to a UNODC expert group on the responsible use of AI in policing. I hold a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Queensland.
