Eijaz is a Senior Lecturer at the Curtin Business School, Curtin University, Australia. Before joining Curtin University, he was the Academic Head of Governance, Management and Tourism, and a Senior Lecturer at the College of Business, Law and Governance, James Cook University. He holds a PhD in Strategy from Curtin University, Australia; an MBA in Strategy from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand; and an MBA and BBA from the University of Dhaka.

He has also held academic positions at the University of Sydney and the University of Technology Sydney. Eijaz’s main research expertise and interests include strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship, circular economy, sustainability, SDGs, and supply chain management. His teaching interests span strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation, project management, and supply chain management.

With more than $103,793 in secured research funding, he has published papers in leading journals such as the Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Education + Training, and the International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, as well as the Entrepreneurship Research Journal. He has presented his research at numerous academic conferences.

Currently, he serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Management & Organization and the Journal of Family Business Management, and is a member of the Academy of Management (AOM), the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM), and the Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ). He supervises PhD students.
