BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH IMPACT

I am a Metallurgical Engineer and mineral processing researcher undertaking a PhD at the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM), Curtin University. My research focuses on the beneficiation and flotation behaviour of borate minerals and their associated gangue minerals, with the aim of developing effective processing strategies for complex mineral resources.

My research interests include mineral processing, process mineralogy, mineral characterisation, and process optimisation. My work combines advanced mineralogical characterisation with laboratory-scale beneficiation testwork to investigate the factors controlling mineral separation and flotation performance.

Before commencing my PhD, I gained industry and laboratory experience in mineral processing through roles with MMG Rosebery, JKTech at The University of Queensland, and Brisbane Met Labs. My experience includes plant process optimisation, metallurgical testwork, mineral processing data analysis, process monitoring, technical reporting, and laboratory operations. I also have previous academic experience as a Mineral Processing Lecturer at the Namibia University of Science and Technology. I hold a Master of Philosophy in Minerals Engineering from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Lubumbashi.
