BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH IMPACT

PhD candidate (under collaborative PhD program between Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad / Curtin University, Australia) working on nonlinear control and energy optimisation of hydraulic excavator systems. Research covers Lyapunov-based backstepping control with disturbance observers, inverse optimal control, adaptive MPC, accumulator-assisted energy recovery, and metaheuristic optimisation-based controller tuning for swing and boom drive subsystems.

Recipient of the Collaborative PhD Research Scholarship, NPTEL Post Baccalaureate Fellowship, and NPTEL Gold Medal in Industrial Hydraulics and Automation (MoE, Govt. of India). Thesis defence expected late 2026.
