Josephine  Umbella is a Masret of Philosophy candidate at Curtin University of Technology Perth Western Australia, with a strong background in Bachelor of Science (Health Promotion). Prior to commencing her  Master program, Josephine worked at Curtin University and at the  University of Western Australia, in Australia ehere she played a key role of research asistant working in multiple projects focusing on falls prevention among older people. She worked on both Indigenoud falls prvenention programs such as Ironbark exercise program and Australian exerchise prognarm enhencing her skills on cultural appropriate exercise programs  and their effectiveness in Australia.

Currently ar Curtinn University Perth, Josephine  is involved in research focusing on the Impact of the legislation in the digital marlketing of e-cigarettes,
