TEACHING & SUPERVISION SUMMARy

Future Supervision Projects

The following is a list of other ideas that I am interested in supervising research on:

  • Visualizing the effectiveness of a constructed surface to bound distillation recovery data points in 3D space
  • Determining the optimal ordering of splits to separate a mixture by distillation configuration
  • Developing a constraint on the recoveries of components in separation by distillation column
  • Proving a formula for minimum energy consumption of distillation configuration
  • Estimating number of stages required for separation by distillation column
  • Re-deriving equations to predict minimum energy consumption of distillation column
  • Building a toy distillation column that pedagogically conveys the physical process of vapor-liquid traffic

I will have openings in the future to supervise

  • Undergraduate student for Summer Internship 2026-2027
  • Undergraduate student for Academic Year 2027
  • Doctoral student (domestic) during 2028-2032 (RTP applications will open on 1st July 2027)

For more details on these opportunities, kindly contact me.

Social Science

  • Agent Choices VS Game Parameters - To what extent are choices influenced by others or self?
  • Collective Misalignment: The subtle balance between social coordination and self-consistency
  • Changing the Collective Patterns of Social Diffusion by  Modelling Confirmation Heuristics

Mathematical Sciences Student Connect (MS2C)

Co-run with Manou Rosenberg, with support from the Mathematics Discipline of EECMS, this is a series organised for Curtin students to interact with student/staff researchers in mathematically relevant areas. It features research presentations, skill workshops, and discussions.
