Career summary: I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Kids Research Institute, Australia, investigating child health and development. My research focuses on early-life exposures and their influence on child health & development, with a particular emphasis on priority populations.
With over six years of academic experience and more than 60 peer-reviewed publications (H-index 28), I have led and co-led multicenter projects advancing maternal and child health research. My work spans perinatal epidemiology, mental health, and public health, leveraging big data with advanced analytical tools.

Academic contributions: I am senior collaborator of Global Burden of Diseases (GBD). I serve as an Academic Editor for PLOS ONE and reviewer for several journals including BMC Public Health, BMC Pregnancy and child Birth, BMJ Open, and Health Policy and Planning. Currently, I am also leading maternal and child health theme of Australia-based Ethiopian Researchers Network (ABReN) since 2023 and active memebr of The Kids EMCRs council since 2026. These roles reflect my commitment to maintaining scientific rigor and contributing to the research community.

Technical expertise: R, STATA, big data management, and epidemiological modeling. I bring strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills to collaborative research environments.
