BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH IMPACT
I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow specialising in Economics at Curtin University. My research primarily centers around aspects of housing, exploring themes related to precarious housing. In particular, considering aspects such as forced mobility, unaffordable housing, unsuitable housing and even the surrounding neighbourhood. I have investigated how these aspects affect wellbeing, what drives transitions into and out of these aspects and how rental assistance can protect the vulnerable from these aspects.
My expertise consists of economic modelling of wellbeing outcomes and housing outcomes, which is generally via the use of panel-data analysis. I am confident with the use of statistical software such as STATA. I also have experience with managing and analysing datasets fundamental to housing research, such as the HILDA survey in Australia and the BHPS and UKHLS in the United Kingdom.
