Dr Mahnaz Hall is a Senior Lecturer in Academic Capability Development and the English Language Development Coordinator in the Faculty of Business and Law. She specialises in Applied Linguistics, providing capability-building and practical guidance on innovative and effective approaches to academic skills development, assessment/curriculum design, and teaching practices. Mahnaz has made a sustained contribution to supporting student success and graduate outcomes, as recognised through teaching and learning/e-learning excellence awards and securing grants. Her research interests include tertiary education quality, academic skills development, assessment design, artificial intelligence and academic integrity, phonology, intercultural communication, and the pedagogical implications of English as a lingua franca.
