Dr Sophie Brennan-Jones is a Lecturer at Curtin Medical School and lead of the StudyWell programme, which provides academic learning guidance and support for medical students. Her work spans medical education, problem-based learning, curriculum development, assessment design and quality assurance and student support.

Sophie contributes to Year 3 teaching and assessment, including curriculum review, learning objective development, assessment design, and programme enhancement activities. She has contributed to tutor development, curriculum redesign initiatives, and the development of learning resources that support student learning across the medical programme.

Her educational practice is informed by scholarship, student feedback and assessment data, with a focus on supporting student success, developing independent learners, and ensuring high-quality learning experiences. She was awarded the Curtin Medical School Teaching Excellence Award in 2022 in recognition of her contributions to teaching, assessment and student support.
