BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH IMPACT
I am a finance academic at Curtin University with research interests in investments, institutional trading, insider trading, market anomalies, and empirical asset pricing. My research has been published in leading finance and accounting journals, including the Journal of Corporate Finance, Critical Finance Review, The British Accounting Review, International Review of Finance, and Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance. I also supervise HDR students and contribute to the development of research capability through doctoral supervision and collaborative research.
My teaching focuses on investment management, portfolio management, international finance, and financial risk management. I have developed and coordinated undergraduate and postgraduate finance units across Curtin’s Bentley and global campuses, incorporating real-time investment simulations, financial databases, quantitative analytics, AI-enabled learning activities, and industry engagement into the curriculum.
Beyond teaching and research, I serve as the Finance Research Seminar Coordinator and have contributed to research events, editorial and peer-review activities, and external academic service. I am committed to connecting research, education, and professional practice to create engaging and globally relevant learning and research environments.
