BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH IMPACT
I am a Continuing Teaching Academic in the School of Management and Marketing, where I teach information systems and the practical use of artificial intelligence in business. My work focuses on turning emerging technology into things students and colleagues can actually use: classroom tools, open-source software, and teaching resources that make complex ideas approachable. I have taught across undergraduate and postgraduate units, delivered executive and professional education, and supported teaching at Curtin's global campuses. My path here spans roughly a decade each as an Instructor Officer in the Royal Australian Navy, teaching computer science at Curtin, and consulting in industry, before moving into Information Systems.
