I am an interdisciplinary scientist interested in the origin of the vertebrate body plan which I investigate through morphological studies of extant sharks and 360 million years fossils though 3D imaging (synchrotron, nano CT) and histological techniques.

I am appointed as Associate Professor, Teaching and Research at 0.8FTE (40 % research and 40% teaching).
