BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH IMPACT
Leader and researcher recognised for work in gender equity, inclusive leadership, community formation and commemoration, and institutional change. As Curtin University’s inaugural Director, Gender Equity and Inclusion (2023-26), I led institution-wide strategy to embed equity, inclusion and belonging across the global Curtin community. I am Co-founder and Academic co-Lead of the Curtin Gender Research Network and President of the History Council of WA. I sit on the Curtin Academic Board and the University Research Committee. My research on gender, institutional change, equity systems, leadership, gender-based violence, care and contested histories translates into policy and practice with industry and government partners across Australia, Vietnam and Indian Ocean rim.
