BIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH IMPACT
I am currently completing a PhD on identity, well-being, and connection to place. This research documents places, stories, and individual lived experiences to explore notions of Aboriginal Identity, well-being, and connections to Country. Examining connections between the stories and lived experiences of Stolen Generation survivors and their families, with the history of forced land dispossession and land degradation, from 1900 to 2025.
I also hold postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Management and Adult and Tertiary Education.
I am an experienced executive leader and Non-Executive Director with more than 20 years' experience providing strategic leadership, governance, and organisational oversight across local government, regional development, environmental management, public policy, and community sectors. Focused on leading complex organisations and partnerships that deliver long-term economic, environmental and social outcomes within publicly accountable environments.
In addition, I have served on numerous Boards, statutory committees and advisory bodies, contributing expertise in governance, strategic planning, enterprise risk management, infrastructure oversight, environmental stewardship, stakeholder engagement and organisational transformation.
