Janice Chan is Deputy Director, Research and Discovery at Curtin University Library, Perth, Western Australia. She provides strategic leadership of a broad range of research services, repository management, HDR support, collections acquisition and discovery, library systems, special collections and public programs. She's committed to building high-performing teams that thrive through collaboration, diversity, curiosity and collective leadership. In 2025, she joined the Global Sustainability Coalition for Open Science Services (SCOSS) Board as a member representing the Council for Australasian University Librarians (CAUL).
